Join us for a unique two-day casting workshop with Maya Kvetny, an international casting director working across film and television markets. This workshop launches a new series of masterclasses with international film professionals and is designed for actors who want to strengthen their casting skills and gain valuable insight into today's audition process.

About the Workshop

This intensive workshop focuses on working on film scenes and recording them on camera. Each participant will work on one partnered scene over the course of two days under Maya Kvetny’s guidance, refining their casting preparation and on-camera performance. The work will focus on the practical aspects of casting, how to bring your strongest and most authentic work into the audition room, and what makes a performance stand out, feel memorable, and become castable from a casting director's perspective.

 

About Maya Kvetny

Maya Kvetny is an internationally acclaimed casting director whose work spans major feature films and television productions across Europe and the United States. Throughout her career, she has collaborated on numerous high-profile projects, including Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, Amazon’s Carnival Row, Das Boot, Taika Waititi’s Academy Award-winning Jojo Rabbit, Netflix hits Extraction 2 and The Gray Man, as well as Ron Howard’s Genius.

Known for her exceptional instinct for talent and deep understanding of the actor’s craft, Maya has helped shape performances that resonate with audiences worldwide. Her experience working at the highest level of international casting has given her unique insight into what makes actors stand out and succeed in a competitive industry.

In recent years, Maya has also become a sought-after actor mentor, sharing her expertise from the unique perspective of an experienced casting director. Her approach combines practical industry knowledge with a strong focus on authenticity, helping actors bring their most compelling work into the audition room and in front of the camera.

 

Workshop Program

• Working on one partnered scene over two workshop days

At the end of the workshop, each participant will receive their recorded video material.

Workshop Objective

Working with Maya Kvetny is a unique opportunity to gain the perspective of an international casting director and learn what truly works in the casting room. The workshop focuses on developing an authentic and compelling on-camera presence while strengthening the skills needed to succeed in auditions.

Participants will receive direct feedback on their work as well as practical tools and insights that can be applied to future casting opportunities both in Poland and internationally.
